Too many "neo-trads" have a problem with introspection, guilt, reflection, generosity, love - as if these are all "christian" virtues

This is a self-goal. Don't try to bring back bronze-age norms. It's not "cool" and you will never win any room, besides "likes and retweets" from incels on X

All these virtues are seen in Greece as societies progressed and got more complex. Plato's dialogues embrace all these virtues and stoutly defend the "Examined Life"

You see it in India too in the post-Epic age with the rise of new ideals - be it non-violence, asceticism, dispassionate karma (gItA). Texts like shAnti parva, much of vedAnta, gItA is a testament to it.

This isn't christian per se.

Don't make the pagan vs christian fight to be one of "badass vs saint". You ain't winning that battle, and you only end up batting for christianity

The misplaced love for philosophers like Nietzsche is resulting in this hyper-masculine rhetoric disguised in "trad" overtones. Nietzche had a problem not just with Christianity but also the "Examined Life" more broadly. He disliked Socrates / Plato and the classical tradition of Athens.

Just because he said something nice about Manu Smriti shouldn't make us fans of his. He wouldn't like reflective, vedantic texts either

We are going back to a new kind of feudalism. Asset prices have ballooned, the rupee's value has fallen, and there are no jobs. Millennials were lucky to be young at the right time (the early 2000s) and grew their assets and incomes alongside India's stellar growth during the 2001-2011 decade. They will obviously be more conservative and keep voting for the status quo.

The Gen Z generation that grew up in Amritkaal will neither have assets nor jobs unless they are very good at what they do. Modernity has also taken away the comfort of the traditional Indian family from many of these guys. Lots of them will never get married or raise children. These guys will be called incels by girls and losers by millennials for not getting a seat or a job.

Inequality is rising, and society is more divided than it was in the previous decade. Politics will keep becoming more caste-based because everyone wants a greater share of the pie when they know the pie is not going to grow.

See, the problem is Modi supporters are too much invested in next elections. I do not think these guys are here for winning any elections. They are here for violent overthrow of the govt.

CJI uses the word cockroach , which is a very weird language. Then some random kid studying in Boston starts this movement. The whole thing was started within a month. Someone is pulling the strings very smartly. We will see what the end game is. I do not think it is elections.

Until now it has a very strong parallel with what happened with Bangladesh. Something Judiciary did led to some very hyper protests. Only thing we need to wait and see how they are going to pull the coup.

The message in this ancient story, as beautifully retold by @shekharsuman7, is powerful. However, exposing individual leaders only provides temporary relief. To find lasting solutions, it is far more important to expose the core theology and ideology that shapes them. Sparing the underlying doctrine only allows the problem to survive and grow.

For centuries, generations of Hindus have failed to do a proper root-cause analysis. Instead, they personalise systemic threats by blaming individuals. This critical blind spot allows hostile ideologies to escape scrutiny. For instance, despite a thousand years of destructive Islamic rule, Hindus only criticise individual Muslims. They never ask what specific doctrines motivate those individuals to commit acts of vandalism against Hindu civilisation, demography, and geography.

Likewise, India has suffered decades of organised communist violence. This includes Naxalism, Maoist insurgency, and left-wing extremism that killed thousands of innocents, destroyed public property, and disrupted governance. Yet, Hindus never question what drives individual communists to commit such barbaric acts.

For decades, Christians involved in what is euphemistically called the Northeast insurgency have killed thousands. They continue to destabilise India, Hindu society, and demography from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Gujarat to Manipur in every possible way. Yet, Hindus rarely ask why they do that.

This same pattern repeated with Punjab terrorism, where Sikhs slaughtered nearly 40,000 Hindus. In every case, Hindus attack the actors rather than analysing the conditioning that indoctrinated them.

Today, this same failure is visible in how people handle the Sangh Parivar and #Sanghis, who cause enormous sabotage to the Hindu religion and destroy systems of governance. Criticising individual leaders or attributing all systemic issues to Narendra Modi misses the forest for the trees. Narendra Modi is simply a product of the RSS and its underlying framework. The exact same destruction would happen under any other #Sanghi. By focusing on the individual leader, Hindus miss the true source of the problem, which is the #PseudoHindutva ideology of the RSS.

To ensure civilisational survival, Hindus must learn to expand their focus to fighting both the individual symptoms and the underlying disease by dismantling the ideological fount that motivates them. #RSS_Mukt_Bharat

Sir, you would have been celebrated a hero had you given this communication in May. And taken action on Dharmendra Pradhan during UGC fiasco itself. There has been no accountability until external pressure.

It should have been done a year ago but better late than never. Take this discontent seriously. CJP isn't the issue. Even deep state isn't. But public discontent, widespread fatigue and shimmering anger is.
