Collated by Tusar Nath Mohapatra (b. 1956), Director, Savitri Era Learning Forum (2005), Founder, Savitri Era Religion (2006), and President, Savitri Era Party (2007). Savitri Era of those who adore, Om Sri Aurobindo & The Mother.
But it is riveting -- watching the people in the control room watching the descent.
" has struck a chord in the once insular American conservative community, inspiring hope for America and at least some respect for his ancestral cultural heritage with his eloquent words" - from my new article in :
In India, #SubhasChandraBose was a distinguished leftist with pronounced views on equality. When it came to the wider world, however, he was an ultranationalist. For years, he had been busy ingratiating himself with Europe’s foremost fascists.

In our upcoming #SangamTalk scheduled for this Friday, the focus of the discussion will be on the Kalinga Sādhabas. This group comprised indigenous and resourceful seafarers and adept maritime traders who engaged in trade with various nations, islands, and communities.
Interesting.
The maritime tradition of Kalinga is so underrated. for taking this up
Added to that the fierce resistance that Odia kings gave to Islamic invaders is another unexplored topic and deserve our attention
Hopefully, that will also be a part of discussion
In modern western thought, scientific method, deductive reasoning, and empirical verification alone establish what is true.
On the other hand, The Taittirīya Āraṇyaka lists four modes to establishing evidence for any given statement.
There’s a place for cultural localism and thus various schools with their own inflections, but the state or political sphere itself should not favor one culture over another (at least if you take social threefolding seriously, which is the larger impulse out of which Waldorf… Show more

Sri Aurobindo's philosophy provides a guide to the past, present and future.
Mahavakyas like Aham Brahmasmi or Tat Tvam Asi are popular but it's by reading The Life Divine that the process of involution by which the creation took shape is brought home. This revolutionary revelation by Sri Aurobindo overthrew the reigning philosophy of illusion of Shankara.
Understanding where power lies, where it is derived from, and how it operates is important in all walks of life. In this second piece in my demystifying development jargon, I look at #power.
The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have accomplished whatever synthesis was possible and needed. Hence, venturing to mix their teachings with other streams is downright stupidity. Similarly, seeking to compare their achievements with other gurus and great men is an exercise in futility.
The life of Sri Aurobindo has many parallels with that of Dante. Despite the religious nature of his poem, Dante is also considered as one of the founding fathers of secularism. The story of Beatrice as Dante's literary muse is interesting. Even the cart-men used to sing his poem
Today happens to be the World Union Day. Apart from Sri Aurobindo's predictions in The Ideal of Human Unity about it, #WorldUnion sits firmly as third dream in the #FiveDreams message broadcast on August 14, 1947. Remembering the pioneers, A.B. Patel, M.P. Pandit, and Samar Basu.
Development in India has been progressive and so thinking that the present Prime Minister is a Messiah is delusional. People rating their Chief Ministers in Odisha and West Bengal is no different. Personality cult bulldozing democratic values and aspirations is playing havoc.
Sri Aurobindo is India's greatest philosopher. He goes beyond all philosophers of the past and present. Read this book to understand his analysis of the universe and his vision of the future.

Sri Aurobindo
Having lived under all the 14 Prime Ministers (without stepping outside the country), I have some unique experiences as a citizen. I have lived in a village, semi-urban, urban, and a metropolis in four States and seen the technological revolution with Sri Aurobindo as the anchor.
Last eighteen years in social media have also demonstrated that I have unique political ideas and no one is willing to align with me. Instead of being disappointed, I take this as a sign of strength which might prove its might some day. I also suspect shadow-banning by platforms.
