February 29 is the #GoldenDay. Very few people know the significance of this day. On this date in 1956 #SupramentalManifestation took place on a global scale in the earth's subtle-physical layer as a fruition of #SriAurobindo and the #Mother's Herculean labour to bring down the supramental Truth upon earth. Those who are familiar with Sri Aurobindo's writings, the concept of Supermind (or the Truth-Consciousness) is known to them. It is the master-key to unfold divine life upon earth. Since 1956 it has been incessantly working to manifest in the external physical life of the world. In the course of time, it will gather momentum and be perceptible to many. In the words of the Mother: 'The manifestation of the Supramental upon earth is no more a promise but a living fact,a reality. It is at work here, and one day will come when the most blind, the most unconscious, even the most unwilling shall be obliged to recognise it.' According to the Mother there are two points which resist strongly --- all that has to do with politics and all that has to do with money.

Right. But the philosophy departments of India have been ignoring Sri Aurobindo who is an original philosopher through his creative treatises on the Divine Life, Yoga, Veda, Vedanta n the Gita.
Quoting Sri Aurobindo is fine. But the best is to quote briefly n relate the quote to modern context or explain it. That is the sign of an original mind who has truly understood Sri Aurobindo. We need such explanations.

While Savitri Era Party advocates switching to a scenario envisioned by Sri Aurobindo, there's no magic wand. Human nature has not undergone any appreciable transformation although intellectual recognition of its necessity is more or less stable. So next step is to popularise it.

No one can beat Sri Aurobindo in analysing the past and foreseeing the future. His stress on individual contribution for aiding Evolution is of profound significance. For instance, every tweet can be judged as to how much hatred it spreads. A few foreigners will rank at the top.
After seventy years, it can safely be asserted that the Constitution of India is thoroughly elitist and Utopian. Auroville was surely ambitious which was founded after twelve years of Supramental descent. But the Constitution, without any spiritual foundation, was merely a dream.

Most here draw immense satisfaction by spouting hatred and it has become part of their life's mission. Of course, all on the pretext of nationalism or protecting religion. Life is difficult; each one is entitled to find his or her own way of overcoming frustration and depression.

Earlier the general refrain used to be love, peace, and brotherhood. Now everyone clamours hate, hit, and kill. What has caused this slippery slope slide so fast is not known but is a sign of how power corrupts the thinking process. We retain hope on Modi govt but it's shrinking.
An artful way of ignoring Sri Aurobindo is to say I haven't read him much. If you are aware of everything under the Sun and have an opinion on any damn thing, then why this omission unless intended? Isn't it a sign of your rating him as worthless? Saying that is much more honest.

Quotations are a problem with Sri Aurobindo's way of explicating any notion spread over two-three pages. Further, a lot of prior attunement is needed which develops in the course of reading. Sri Aurobindo and Carl Marx by DPC is the most competently attempted critical enterprise.

Even in the period of the British Raj, how can you talk about the concept of Indian nationhood by leaving out such stalwart politicians like Savarkar, Aurobindo Ghosh, Shyama Prasāda Mukherjee, or Rabindranath Tagore. They all had varying understanding of what a Rāshtra meant.
I don’t think these intellectuals even know European history or analyze that with some lived experience in Europe. I lived in Europe for 10 years. This nonsense of connecting Hindu Rāshtra with German nationalism has to stop. It makes no sense whatsoever!
